Glean

One line a day from the world's wisdom, and a quiet place to write what it meets in you. Glean tells you nothing. The meaning is yours to find.

Common questions

I bought full access on another phone. Open Glean, go to Settings, and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with.

How do I cancel a subscription? In your App Store or Google Play account settings. Glean cannot cancel it for you, and the lifetime purchase has nothing to cancel.

Where is my journal stored? Only on your phone. There is no account and no cloud copy, so deleting the app deletes the journal. Back up your phone if you want to keep it.

Where do the lines come from? Public-domain texts: the Dhammapada, the Bible (KJV), the Qur'an (Pickthall), Marcus Aurelius and Epictetus, the Tao Te Ching, the Analects, Gibran's The Prophet, and Emerson's Essays. Each line is credited in the app.
